Overview
In line with our mission to build the best tech-enabled delivery experiences, we are hiring a product operations associate to create, document, and automate processes that drive value across the team and the entire delivery chain.
In this role, you will work directly with the operations, customer experience, and engineering teams to drive efficiency. You will identify problems, propose solutions, drive execution, and measure success using data.
You are intimately aware of all the different processes required to deliver a high-quality experience, how our team interacts with these processes, and how technology enables us to scale these processes.
By standardizing, templatizing, and automating as many operations-related functions as possible, you will streamline how things work so the team can scale.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Create, review, and document internal/external processes
- Work with cross-functional teams to build solutions that improve performance metrics
- Identify and prioritize processes to be automated
- Draft user journeys, stories, and flows for the engineering team to aid operations
- Measure the performance of the operations team and communicate via weekly reports
- Create a systematic approach to product and operational excellence
Requirements
- 2-3 years of work experience in a consulting, operations, business analysis, or product role. Experience in logistics is an advantage.
- You are fast solution-oriented learner, independent, and thrive in ambiguity. You jump into challenges and cherish the opportunity to create novel solutions from scratch
- You can think widely to understand systems (e.g. why are the processes structured this way? what is the context?) and narrowly to solve specific problems (e.g. how can I improve this process? how does it affect other co-dependencies?).
- You can communicate clearly and effectively through oral and written means. When you understand a concept, you can explain it concisely.
- You love documentation and structure. If any task or information needs to be repeated, you instinctively write it down for future reference.
- You feel a mix of pain and irritation when you have to keep repeating a manual and time-consuming process. To automate that process, you can pull in context from multiple departments to find the best solution.
- Your thoughts and priorities are clear. Although there are a million things to do, you are always working on the most important tasks and activities
